On Thursday and Friday the 11th and 12th of May we had a very successful first ever Regional Event to Switzerland. We had 45 participants from more than 8 different member nations participating on a two-day seminar that included visits to the historic Gonzen iron mine, Schollberg Underground Quarry and the Hagerbach Test Gallery.
All the participants expressed great appreciation for a very well-arranged visit with a highly technical content and good opportunities to get to know tunneling colleagues from other countries.
Besides the official programme – our hosts from Hagerbach had prepared a surprise for us; a live demonstration of an explosion, so we can trul say: We had a blast!
