Lombardi Engineering Ltd and Lombardi Engineering India Pvt Ltd in the role of Detailed Design Consultant (cum technical service provider) is responsible for providing detailed design of Tunnels and other Underground Civil works, E&M and Ventilation works to Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) for Mumbai Coastal Road Project Package-4. The TBM Mavala (excavation diameter 12.19 m) was commissioned on 11 January 2021 from Launching Shaft at Priyadarshini Park and a total of 2072 meters of tunnelling was completed in a course of 1 year, excavating through challenging geological conditions, and under structures of historical and cultural importance. Lombardi Group congratulates all the stakeholders involved in making the first successful drive.
