On the 28th of June 2021, the government and the majority of the political parties in the Danish Parliament agreed on the Infrastructure Plan 2035 with more than 22 billion euros - the largest infrastructure plan ever. Within the agreement, 14.2 billion euros of the 22 billion euros will be invested in the construction of new transport infrastructures. No less than 8 tunnel projects are in this plan.
