The Steering Board of the ITA's Committee on Education and Training met in Lyon on 12th February to discuss headway on ongoing actions.

This meeting was notably an opportunity to discuss the preparations for the two  ITA-CET training sessions organized within the context of the forthcoming World Tunnel Congress, which will take place in Naples from 3rd to 9th May 2019.

The Steering Board also discussed plans for a first meeting of European universities offering training in the field of tunnels and underground structures. This event will take place in Turin on 5th and 6th December 2019 and will be an opportunity for professors to discuss the various existing courses and possiblities for future collaboration. PhD students will also be invited to present their work. More information on this event will be available shortly. Watch this space!
