The ITA-CET Committee and ITACET Foundation have teamed up with AMITOS, the Mexican Association of tunnel and underground space engineers, to provide an online training session on the topic of ‘Conventional and mechanized tunnelling in soil and rock’. This event will take place over three half-days, on the 26th, 28th and 30th September 2022.

The objective of this training session is to present the construction methods and their fields of application in soil and rock tunnelling. The main criteria to select a method will be presented and illustrated through case studies. The course will highlight the recent improvements leading to an expansion of these fields of application.
