MIT World Peace University Pune, India, is organizing an international event on 15th-16th November 2024, supported by the ITA and ITA-CET.

The aim of this two-day event is to promote environmentally and socially responsible underground space utilization and tunnelling practices.

The workshop, organized in collaboration with the International Tunnelling Association (ITA) and the Tunnelling Association of India (TAI & TAIym), will bring together renowned experts from India and around the globe, such as the ITA president, Dr. Arnold Dix, who is a passionate advocate for sustainable tunnelling.

In order to make the workshop available to a wide audience, it will be organized as a hybrid event.

In parallel with this event, MIT-WPU is also organizing its first tunnelling awards, a national-level competition recognizing outstanding projects in tunnelling.
