ITACUS and ISOCARP representatives met January 2016 in Amsterdam to discuss further cooperation and new plans. The meeting was initiated by Han Admiraal and focused on:
1/ The cooperation between ITA’s young members and ISOCARP’s young planners. ITACUS is actively exploring to set up a series of joint workshop with young planning professionals and young ITA members in cities exploring a specific urban planning case. It was agreed by all parties that this is a great initiative and both organisations will actively search for candidates. Please contact us if you have any suggestions for a city or city region. The new program is called Young Professionals’ Think Deep Programme (YPTDP) and will be led by newly elected Activity Group Leader Petr Salak.
2/ We would like to keep up the momentum and publish a second 'Think Deep' Book Volume 2 in the near future. This new publication will contain results from 5 young members workshops from 5 different cities. Our ambitious target date is summer 2017.
