After Glasgow, YPTDP is in Wroclaw, Poland, and even the local Mayor has joined us!

17 May 2017

After a successful Young Professional's Think Deep Programme (YPTDP) workshop in Glasgow, we are back, this time in Wroclaw, Poland (15-19 May 2017). The task we are set is not easy as we are - 'Shaping the New City District: Wrocław West End'.

However, we are not afraid for this challenge as 20 young professionals from all over the world including architects, urban planners, tunnel and geotechnical engineers together with twelve local students and six senior international tutors are up for the challenge!

The plan is to define and design a new urban structure for the western district of the city of Wroclaw West End. Furthermore, we are connecting the infrastructure development into integrated above and below ground urban design.

On 19 May 2017, the team will be presenting the results of our work at the City Hall to Rafał Dutkiewicz (Mayor of Wroclaw), members of the city planning department and other decisions makers.

We will be back with updates!

This workshop would be impossible without the support of the City of Wroclaw, Wroclaw University of Technology, ISOCARP, ITACUS and other partners.
