The ITACUS Steering Board met on 5 April 2022 online. It was great to catch up with everyone and hear about the various plans for our Activity Groups. ITACUS is proceeding full ahead and making good progress in advocacy and reaching out to new organisations. The working relationship with the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) will shortly lead to the publication of a case study on underground data centres and how cities can benefit from these. Each Thursday is now 'Spotlight Thursday', where one of our members or relations is put in the spotlight on social media. An exciting new activity is coming up in June when Antonia, Mahak and Han will engage online with 60 UN Youth Fellows on the merits of urban underground space as part of achieving sustainable cities.
