Happy to share that we just presented our committee’s recent and future activities at the 50th general assembly of the ITA-AITES
World Tunnel Congress 2024 (WTC 2024)

Huge thanks to our outgoing co-chair Han Admiraal for all his dedication and strategic development to our committee .
Our chair (formally co-chair with Han) Antonia Cornaro outlined these to the Executive Committee and general assembly.
The elect candidate vice chairs Abidemi Agwor and Petr Salak, long-standing steering board members of ITACUS were present as well.

Huge thanks to former ITA President Jenny Yan and former executive Director Olivier Vion for their continuous support of our committee’s vision and initiatives.

We were excited to host a well attended panel with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Wenyu G. and Yingxin Zhou and meet with UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) Director Michal Mlynár during this congress and engage in conversations about future joint collaboration on sustainable development and investment in undergrouns space, such as at the upcoming World Urban Forum.
