Pauli Arenram, ITAtech Chair, did announce early 2018 that he will step down at the General Assembly in Dubai 2018.

Two things drive this move: 1) Pauli has a very challenging business growth mission from his employer Epiroc Mining and Rock Excavation (former Atlas Copco Mining & Rock Excavation) and must focus his time and energy fully on that mission during the next years to come.

2) After almost 4 years as Chair for ITAtech, Pauli believes that now is a good time to make room for new leadership to take the ITAtech committee to the next level in development and maturity.

The ITAtech Steering Board members elected Nick Chittenden, BASF, as new Chair. The election is yet to be approved the General Assembly April 25th.

The Steering Board did have one physical meeting at the WTC 2017, and four Web-conferences since then.  The next physical meeting is at WTC2018 in Dubai.
