For the past year the ITAtech Activity Group on Sprayed Linings and Waterproofing has been dealing with this topic and developing best practice guidelines for the application of this technology. 

The results of these activities has been presented during a Deminar in close cooperation with the International Centre for Geotechnics and Underground Construction (CUC) and VSH Hagerbach Test Gallery in advance of the next World Tunnel Congress 2013 in Switzerland.

The DEMINAR combines presentations - as they are known from a SemINAR - with the unique possibilities at the Hagerbach Test Gallery to DEMonstrate the application in real tunnel condition in a real scale. 

Specially the real scale application demonstrations will give a full understanding of the system of spray membranes and the boundary conditions of application and testing.

A group of about 75 delegates attended the deminar, ranging from clients, design engineers, contractors and representatives of shotcrete additive manufacturers.
