The ITAym celebrated World Tunnel Day and St Barbara's Day on the 4th of December with 28 national Young's Member Groups during a 24-hour online meet up (zoom-marathon).

The celebrations started in Oceania and slowly moved to Asia, Africa, Europe and America. Each young's member group was given a slot where it presented various ym-activities - initiatives and interesting tunnelling and underground projects.

The event was extremely successful with more than 450 participants joining the marathon worldwide and over 3000 total clicks on the zoom link. The event was recorded and will be soon available to watch from the ITAym YouTube channel.  The ITAym steering board would like to acknowledge that this event was a collaborative effort, thank everyone who contributed and assisted in making this possible and wishes to make this world meet-up a yearly event and a tradition for the years to come.
