Gallerie e Grandi Opere Sotterranee, has been the journal of the Italian Tunnelling Society since 1976.
The Journal publishes technical and scientific articles on research, technological development and case histories on underground works and underground structures. It also publishes regular updates (Director’s columns, news on works/tenders, news from ITA, reports from the Association’s technical visits, etc.).

For its special issue on Innovation in TBM tunnelling, you are invited to participate in discussing innovative solutions in TBM tunnelling design and applications.
The aim is to share and discuss the most recent scientific and technological developments in the field, with a focus on the following topics such as : Multi-mode and hybrid TBMs; Continuous boring machines;  Tunnelling under high cover in squeezing and collapsing ground… and many others. We encourage you to submitt your abstract !  Deadline for submission (400 words) is March 15, 2022.
