Metro Line 6

"Gara de Nord – International Airport Henri Coanda – Otopeni". The metro line is connecting the Central Railway station Gara de Nord with the Domestic Fligths Airport "Aurel Vlaicu" Baneasa and with the International Airport "Henri Coanda" from Otopeni city.

The New Line 6 has 16 km in length, 19 stations, 1 depot, connecting the Central Railway station Gara de Nord with the Domestic Fligths Airport "Aurel Vlaicu" Baneasa and with the International Airport "Henri Coanda" Otopeni, both developed to the North part of the city. The commissioning is expected to be up to 2018.

Last year, the Government of Romania, after was signed an agreement regarding a Japanese Loan to perform a feasibility study for the metro link with International Airport, awarded the tender procedure for Consultancy services to a JV part of PADECO (Japan) – Metroul SA (Romania) and Oriental Consult (Japan).

  • Runcu water supply tunnel,
  • Bumbesti Jiu water supply tunnel,
  • Corneleva water supply tunnel.
