BTS is a Learned Society within the Institution of Civil Engineers. It is made up of individual and corporate members and is run by a Management Committee consisting of elected and co-opted members.
Currently the BTS has around 700 individual members and 69 corporate members
Compressed Air Working Group – co-operation with ITA WG5 over “Guidelines for good working practice in High Pressure Compressed Air”

Parliamentary Lobby Group – promotes tunnelling and use of underground space with politicians.
