A three-day training session on "Recent developments in rock tunnelling" took place in Riyadh on 16th-18th November 2014.

The programme, developed by the ITA-CET Committee, included topics such as risk management, design, construction methods, maintenance and rehabilitation.

The lecturers chosen by the Committee came from France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, the United kingdom, Eygypt and Saudi Arabia and were appreciated for their expert knowledge and experience.

The training session, organized by the ITACET Foundation, gathered more than 250 participants from various backgrounds: engineers, manufacturers, government agencies, consultants and contractors.
