ITA Sustainability Committee - The ITA special purpose committee on sustainability consists of representatives from ITA working group and ITA committees.
The aim of the Sustainability Committee is to bring experts together from the tunnel and underground industry and other organizations to give guidance on standards, processes, and solutions across ITA with the aim to enable the industry to deliver more sustainable outcomes.
The Sustainability Committee promotes innovation and developments within all parts of the supply chain of tunnel and underground infrastructures. This includes owners, planners, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
The committee was established at World Tunnel Congress (WTC) 2023 in Athens.
