ITACUS want to congratulate Harvey Parker for his special lifetime achievement award! Harvey was an early promoter of underground space development and collaborating with UN agencies to highlight its role in the functioning and resilience of our cities. During his ITA presidency, he not only changed the name of our association to include 'underground space' he also paved the way for setting up ITACUS. During three years he was ITACUS tutor. At the ITA awards 2019, in Miami, he was the well-deserved recipient of this award! His professional excellence, visionary thinking, and tenacity is a guiding example for us in our daily work!
